I’ve been putting off writing about my experience at Blissdom simply because it’s going to be difficult to cram it all into one post!
Also, I only took about five pictures so I’m going to do a lot of linking, okay?
One of the main reasons I went to Blissdom was to connect (or reconnect) with friends from my online community. I certainly wasn’t disappointed. I had so much fun, and laughed so hard with all these wonderful ladies.
I roomed with three amazing gals: Lisa Leonard, Ashleigh Baker {Heart and Home}, and Maggie Whitley {Gussy Sews}. And I don’t think we took a single picture of all four of us! But luckily, Lisa made this awesome video:
Did you spot me putting on makeup at the beginning? It’s been sped up a bit… I don’t actually put on makeup that fast.
And on one of the evenings, a group of us had our picture taken with the California Raisin. Yep. Abby has a great post featuring this picture.

Of course I also got to see my sweet friend Jessica {The Mom Creative} and have dinner with Angie {Bring the Rain}.
I also got to meet the lovely and talented Ruthanne from Eclectic Whatnot. We’ve narrowly missed meeting each other several times so it was so good to finally hug her neck. This lady is hysterical and has mad baking and sewing skills. She even brought me some of her Red Velvet Cake Balls. And I may be tearing up just thinking about them.
And wouldn’t you know that we took ZERO pictures together? Sigh.
On Friday night, Tsh from Simple Mom hosted a get together for all the editors and contributors of Simple Living Media. (I contribute for Simple Kids). This was definitely a highlight for me, and I’m so honored to be a part of such an amazing group.

One of my other favorite things was after all the day’s activities we would pile into one room and just sit and talk and laugh.
We were looking at Awkward Pregnancy Photos at this point. Who knows what I’m pointing at on the bottom left, but it sure was funny! Thanks to Jeannett for taking these. So fun to have it captured! In these photos: Lindsey {The Pleated Poppy}, Ruthanne {Eclectic Whatnot}, Maggie {Gussy Sews}, Jessica {Allora Handmade} and Moi.
See? I told you. So much goodness for just one post. I think I could go on and on linking and telling stories, but I’ll save those for another day.
In short: Blissdom was amazing. Everything I was hoping and more. Can’t wait for next year!

I think we met briefly at Blissdom. It’s all a little bit of a blur. Especially with the Blissdom plague still hanging around.
Anyway, this is a gem of a post. And all those links took work – Brava.

We did not meet at Blissdom…but I hope we meet sometime! We have lots of mutual friends and acquaintances, so I do hope our paths cross sometime. Until then, I’m looking forward to checking out your blog!
(Came over today because I’ve heard several bloggy friends speak highly of you AND because I loved your post at Deeper Story!)
Were you there too?? Aww now I’m sad we didn’t meet. I would love to get to chat with you. Thanks for your sweet words about my post.
