Project Life: January 8-14

by Emily on January 17, 2012

Welcome to another week of Project Life!  As usual, I’m linking up with Jessica at The Mom Creative.

The Mom Creative

This week I included an 8.5 x 11 page protector with a note from Miles’ new teacher.

A closer look at the first page:

Top photo: We went hiking again at Devil’s Den on Sunday.

I also included a gift card I used this week, and an Instax Mini photo of Miles’ shirt that says “You should take a hike!”

Bottom photos: (L) Love this shot of Miles eating lunch. (R) We were all hit with a cold/flu this week. Macey curled up next to Patrick to try to comfort him.

Next page: on the back of the teacher’s note I put in a piece of snowflake art that Miles created.

A closer look at the second page:

Top Photos:  (L)Miles in the snow! We’ve beautiful weather lately, but overnight on Wednesday we got a little snow. Miles begged to make a snowman. Poor kid. (R) A screenshot from sportys.com and the software I use to do ground school for my flight lessons.

I also included the weather for this week and an Instagram photo of Miles and I waiting at the doctor to get my flight physical.

Bottom Photos: (L) Takeoff!  (R) I took a photography class on Saturday and we were given the assignment to take a few pictures over lunch, so I snapped a picture of this cupcake at Briar Rose Bakery (it was delicious!).

I love the idea of adding in the gift card! I always ask the cashier to throw it out and I am going to keep it next time! What a great idea! That cupcake looks so yummy..and I love that you added the letter from Miles new teacher!

I’m planning on adding my daughters artworks as well, it will be good to look back on them.
